OPEN HOUSE TO ADDRESS COMPLAINTS/GRIEVANCES RELATING TO INDIAN PASSPORTS, VISA, OCI AND OTHER CONSULAR SERVICES

The Embassy of India, Guatemala City will hold an “Open House” every Thursday from 10 AM to 1 PM and every Tuesday from 2 PM to 5 PM every month w.e.f. January 2021 at the Embassy (8ª Avenida 15-07, Zona 10, Cdad. de Guatemala 01010) to address the grievances of the people on issues related to visas, passports and OCI cards. If these days happen to fall on a holiday, the Open House will be held on the first working day thereafter. No prior appointment is required.  In case of any difficulty, you can contact Ambassador’s Office at +502-25088270.

Any Indian national as well as persons of Indian origin who would like to meet Ambassador without an appointment may do so on Thursdays from 0930 AM to 1030 AM.  In the absence of Ambassador, for any particular reason, you may meet Head of Chancery, Mr. Suraj Ananta Jadhav. 

The objective of the open house meetings is to engage with Indian nationals as well as persons of Indian origin on consular matters such as issuance of passports, OCI cards, visas or other services and to address specific issues raised. Members of Indian community residing in Guatemala are welcome to attend these meetings.

In addition, Indian citizens in Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras can send messages to the Embassy of India, Guatemala City at cons[dot]guatemala[at]mea[dot]gov[dot]in or hoc[dot]guatemala[at]mea[dot]gov[dot]in in case of any difficulty faced by them in obtaining passport services and consular help.
